“Now you could study Shakespeare and be quite elite — And you can charm the critics and have nothin' to eat — Just slip on a banana peel —The world's at your feet — Make 'em laugh — Make 'em laugh — Make 'em laugh”

Donald O’Connor, Singin’ in the Rain

I have established myself as one of the go-to costume designers when it comes to parody theatre in St. Louis. I began working with Magic Smoking Monkey Theater shortly after moving to St. Louis, and was a founding member of Cherokee Street Theater Company. Both companies produce works of short parodies of pop culture classics. This experience is one of my favorites because it allows extreme creativity with a small budget and crazy amounts of quick changes. The humor of the show comes just as much from the costumes as it does from the script and the wittiness of the actors, and it is always a joy to watch an audience laugh until they cry.
